PVC shrink film has historically been used as the main consumable when shrink wrapping items. Certain
shrink wrapping machinery will still only accept PVC shrink film, as opposed to Polyolefin shrink film. The
benefit of PVC shrink film is it has a lower sealing temperature, meaning the heat elements within the machine
do not need to have a high specification, and heat guns can also be used to seal the film.
